There's angst and then there's angst. This chapter was definitely the second. When Kurt found out what had happened...wow. Your descriptions of his worry were perfect, though. I didn't like how in canon we didn't get as much of Kurt's immediate reaction, but his broken look the next day was shown here, if that makes any sense at all.

I'm glad he went to see Blaine (although of course he would) and I'm glad Burt went too! His comment about Blaine being family was perfect. I can't wait for your update though, especially since Kurt's now with Blaine!

LOL! I try not to do a lot of intense angst, but this chapter (and the ones that follow) just poured out of me so I knew I had to go with it.

It works though! There's no way for me to say this without sounding odd, but I actually enjoy reading pieces where one of the boys in injured and the other is worried; there's just always so much emotion and wonderful descriptions. ;)

I'm incredibly impressed how much of canon you're working in here! Love how supportive Kurt's family is, of both he and Blaine, and that Burt's managed to plan it all out even in the few hours he's had since it happened!
