Spring 2012
Blaine stared down at the sea of graduation caps sitting on the field. Under one of them was Kurt, getting ready to walk across the stage, graduate, and head off for New York City dreams.
Blaine smiled to himself. It had been a crazy year, full ups and downs, and auditions and decisions - and not just for Kurt. Blaine had had his own future to worry about.
A speaker walked up to the podium and launched into the opening speech. Rachel was valedictorian, so she’d be going last. Kurt, as Class President, would be giving his speech next.
The non-graduating members of New Directions were off on one side of the field, near the marching band, ready to sing for ceremony.
Kurt and Rachel would be sharing a duet, Kurt’s last solo as a high school student.
Blaine clapped politely as the first speaker finished and Kurt approached the podium.
“Congratulations!” he began. “Today is your day. You're off to Great Places! You're off and away!” Blaine couldn’t help but chuckle as Kurt spoke. It had been his suggestion that Kurt use “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” by Dr. Suess as inspiration when Kurt had been stumped on his speech. “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own and you know what you know, and you are the guy who'll decide where to go.”
Fall 2011
Off to the Emmys! Wish me luck. No matter what, it was an honor to be nominated. #Emmys
@BlaineAnderson
Just gonna sit right here, waiting for pictures.
Anyone see Blaine yet?
No, but this livestream of the carpet is killing me. Where do they find these interviewers?
OMG, I think I just saw him!
YES, YES! He’s there.
Does anyone know if he’s bringing a date?

“Breaking E! News, you guys. I can hardly believe it myself. This is so, so exciting. So Kelly and I were watching the arrivals, and we just saw Blaine Anderson get out of his limo.”
“He looked so, so amazing!”
“The best part though, is that he didn’t come alone. Blaine Anderson, who last winter was rumored to be dating his co-star Sebastian Smythe, arrived tonight with Kurt Hummel, the boy from the YouTube video a few months ago.”
*
OMG. HE BROUGHT KURT AS HIS DATE.
SOMEONE HOLD ME.
I CAN’T BREATHE. WHERE ARE THE PICTURES? WHERE IS THE VIDEO?

Blaine was surprised that that night had gone as well as it had so far. It was his and Kurt’s first public outing as a couple and it had gone fairly smoothly. The media had been clamoring for pictures and interviews and Kurt had been so awestruck by the entire thing that Blaine had spent most of the night amused by him instead of worrying about whether or not he’d win his award.
He was worrying now though, as they announced his category, and played the clip of him from the show. Blaine smiled, a little embarrassed when the camera panned to him and showed him sitting in the audience. He could feel Kurt’s eyes on him, but all Blaine could do was focus on his breathing. He held Kurt’s hand tightly as the actress holding the envelope spoke.
“And the Emmy goes to…” She laughed, unable to get the slip of paper with the winner’s name on it out of the envelope. Each second felt like a lifetime as her co-presenter pulled the paper out. They both read it and then leaned forward to speak in unison.
“Blaine Anderson, Dalton.”
The sound of wind rushed passed Blaine’s ears and his heart beat loudly.
They’d said his name. He’d won. He went with his first instinct, planting a hard kiss on Kurt’s lips before getting up and dashing up the stairs to accept his award. His hands were shaking as he accepted the award, shaking hands and kissing cheeks and then it was just him in front of the microphone.
“Oh, my God,” he said the first thing he thought of. “Oh, my God!” The crowd cheered and clapped. “First I just have to thank the amazing cast and crew of Dalton. I would not up here without them. To my agent, Julie - thank you for believing me. To my mom - I love you. You took a chance on me and brought me out here and this is as much yours as it is mine.” He paused. “To Kurt, I - I love you.”
Blaine could see Kurt’s face; his wide smile partially covered by one his hands as he stared up at Blaine and tried not to cry. “To the fans - thank you so much for all your support. To anyone who’s ever had anyone tell them they couldn’t do something…” He held up the Emmy. “Dreams do come true if you keep fighting for them. Thank you!”

Kurt had never been more proud in his whole life. Blaine’s speech had been amazing. He was still wiping tears away when Blaine came back to his seat. Kurt immediately pulled Blaine into his arms.
“Good interviews backstage?” he asked. Blaine nodded.
“I still don’t believe that just happened,” he murmured. “I just… God, Kurt, I won an Emmy.”
“I know,” Kurt laughed.
“Every time I’m cast in something they’ll refer to me as ‘Emmy award winner Blaine Anderson.’” Blaine sounded like he was in shock.
“If they don’t, I’ll write them a strongly worded letter of protest.” Blaine kissed him then.
“I couldn’t have done all this without you,” Blaine whispered.
“Of course you could have,” Kurt chastised. “You won that Emmy all on your own. You’re incredibly talented, Blaine. I think you’re the only one who can’t see it.”
“Thank you,” Blaine murmured. “You always know what I need to hear.”
“Anytime,” Kurt replied. “So… where are you going to put it?”
*
OMG.
SHAKING AND CRYING.
HE WON. HE WON.
I legit just screamed and ran around my bedroom. I’m pretty sure my mom thinks I was just murdered.
EMMY AWARD WINNER BLAINE ANDERSON.
HIS SPEECH WAS AMAZING.
I’M NOT SURE WHAT I’M FREAKING OUT OVER MORE - THE FACT THAT BLAINE WON, OR THAT HE KISSED KURT OR THAT HE TOLD KURT THAT HE LOVED HIM.
It’s a good day to be a Blaine-stan.

They piled into the limo, laughing hysterically. The Emmys had just ended and they were on their way to an after-party. Blaine was going to spend the rest of the night introducing Kurt as his boyfriend and it was just making this perfect night even more amazing.
Julie slid into the limo after them and they sent off. “Yeah, that sounds good, let me talk it over and I’ll call you back.” She hung up her cell and glanced at Kurt at Blaine.
“What?” Blaine asked.
“That was the producer for The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Julie answered. “Kurt, what time is your flight tomorrow?”
“Nine tomorrow night. Why?” Kurt wanted to know. She grinned.
“How would you boys like to be on Ellen tomorrow?”
Blaine stared at Julie in surprise. He’d been on Ellen once before, last year when Dalton had just started.
“Wait,” Kurt said. “Both of us?”
“Yep,” Julie replied. “They had a last minute cancellation, and they’d like to interview Blaine and then the both of you together.”
“Do you want to?” Blaine looked at Kurt. “It’s up to you.”
“I-I don’t know,” Kurt told him. Blaine was immediately concerned.
“What’s wrong?”
“Why does she want to talk to me?”
“Because you’re one half of Hollywood’s hottest couple, considering the stir you made tonight,” Julie answered. “And once she finds out how talented you are, Kurt, things are going to start taking off for you.”
“But doesn’t that… I mean, I’m not using Blaine to get famous. I love him.”
“No one’s saying that,” Blaine assured him. “We’re going to get a lot of request for interviews, Kurt. It’s the nature of the beast. Ellen’s a good interview to do.”
“You think?” Kurt was still hesitating. Blaine nodded.
“Okay,” Kurt finally agreed. “Okay, let’s do it.”

As if tonight couldn’t get any better, Ellen just updated her website. Blaine and Kurt are now scheduled to be on tomorrow.
OMG

ARE THEY TRYING TO KILL US?
FUCKERS. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE?
Ellen, OMG. I’ve done nothing but cry and scream all night.
So basically what this means is more pictures together, and maybe kisses and OMG, WHAT IF ELLEN LETS THEM SING TOGETHER OR SOMETHING?

When Kurt and Blaine tumbled into bed that night, they were both almost too keyed up to sleep. That alone was amazing, Kurt knew, as it was nearing three in the morning. Still, with Ellen the following afternoon, they had to get some sleep.
Kurt leaned over to kiss Blaine good night. Blaine, apparently still not sleepy, deepened the kiss and before Kurt knew what was happening clothes were being removed and tossed across the room. “Blaine!” Kurt squeaked out, laughing again.
“What? I’ve missed you,” Blaine asked, the picture of innocence.
“You had me last night,” Kurt reminded him with a shy smile.
“It’s never enough,” Blaine replied, his mouth diving for Kurt’s neck and locking on.
“Blaine Anderson,” Kurt gasped. “If you give me a hickey, so help me…”
“Spoil my fun,” Blaine pouted. “It’s my night; I should get to do what I want.”
“Oh, poor baby,” Kurt teased.
“Fine, at least let me give you a kiss,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded, his lips pursed. Needless to say, he was shocked to suddenly feel Blaine’s mouth around the head of his dick.
“Blaine,” he moaned, startled. “Oh, what - don’t - don’t stop.”
Blaine made a noise of satisfaction in his throat that sent waves of pleasure radiating through Kurt and lost himself to sensation as Blaine’s mouth worked him over. Kurt felt Blaine’s fingers stroke along his hole and then press into his perineum. Kurt’s orgasm slammed into him like a truck and he didn’t have time to warn Blaine before he came.
“You are really, really, really good at that,” Kurt said breathlessly, as Blaine slid back up to the head of the bed and kissed him lightly. “I didn’t have time to warn you before I…” he trailed off, blushing.
“It’s okay,” Blaine told him. “I liked it. I liked it a lot, actually.” He gestured to the west spot now forming in the sheets. Kurt felt his eyes roll up into his head a little at that news - that was the hottest thing he’d possibly ever heard.
“Sleep,” he spoke firmly, as Blaine pulled Kurt back into his arms and the two of them arranged themselves so neither one was lying in the wet spot.
“Yep,” Blaine agreed, his face nuzzled in Kurt’s neck. “Big day tomorrow.”
