Awawawawah... holy. Watchmen posters from Comicon.

They have quotes. They have quotes on the freaking posters. Oh, and I figure a lot of people must be doing these -- shot-by-shot comparisons between the trailer with the comic. I think my excitement for this movie might be reaching extremely dangerous levels. It's gone way past "hey, this ( Read more... )

Trust your feeeeeeeeelings.../Darth Vader voice

Seriously though, I knew as soon as I saw the first shots from LoTR1 that I'd love it...maybe we can accept that this Watchmen movie might actually be good?

Oh man, I do want to read the Annotated Watchmen. I read the text bits when I first read the book because I was scared I'd miss something, although I admit when the action speeded up I got a bit impatient and just skimmed through them.

Well, the past few years have seen a growing trend of superhero movies that are actually decent. And Watchmen is the first Alan Moore adaptation that's an actual superhero story. By that logic, maybe, just maybe... ^^ It just seems almost too good to be true that we're actually getting a Watchmen movie and it actually looks good.

Now that I've read them, I think the text bits don't really contribute to the plot, but they help build the world of the story and expand the characters. One of the cool things I hear about the movie is that they plan to have similar supplementary material as extras on the DVD.

Aheheh, it's not as if I talk about it much at all. ^^;; I'm always amazed when someone I met in a completely different context turns out to know about No Rest.

Actually, I'd been feeling a bit guilty that I haven't commented on your posts much. They tend to make me feel nostalgic for ADMU life. Well, sort of -- I could definitely do without the Philo orals. XD

It's really fun to read and I love the art, too. <3 And, of course, I'm pretty much obsessed with fairy tales myself so...XD

Ahaha, I don't mind. XD; I don't expect my giant f-list to keep up with all my posts myself. :P I'll be joining the ranks of nostalgic people in a few months. <.<;
