How on EARTH did you get that uncanny ability to articulate EXACTLY what I was thinking? I completely agree with every point you have just made, and hereby award you the Luna Lovegood Medal for Unsettling Perception.

I'm going to be blathering about the book in my own journal soon enough here, but let me just state that I agree with you. The eleventh hour plot twist of every book up to now has been "ohsnap Snape wasn't evil!!" I'm betting that's the very same plot twist being held in store for the series at large.

Oh well. Guess we'll just have to wait for book 7 eh? I still love my Chrestomanci more than my Harry though. But ditto on most of your Snape theories.
