After lots of gentle prodding by rusalkaz, i finally decided to give this series a chance and against all odds i fell completely in love with it! Normally i don't like sports manga or anime, the only other sports series i've ever followed was Prince of Tennis and that's not really so much about sports as about aliens disguised as middle schoolers playing

The anime ended in September and is still not completely subbed, so you're really not that much behind. It's a shamefully underrated series and deserves to get way more attention.

So yeah, watch it~~~~! It's made of several hundred kinds of awesome i'm already checking out dj to buy...!♥

Lol I'm glad my my 'OMG MOAR GAY SHOTA BASEBALL~~' gentle prodding was successful. Oofuri is one of absolutely adorable but severely underrated series that deserve much more love and *sigh* much bigger fandom. Such a pity anime is so short...

I agree, Oofuri deserves to be way more popular! On the other hand, a quiet fandom has it's advantages...i definitely wouldn't want it to reach PoT dimensions, fandomwise!*shudders*

And yes, the anime was too damn short...;_;
