Pssh V-day, another stupid Hallmark Holiday. Hey lets make a day where people can buy their SOs gifts! Why can they not do that any other day? What makes V-day so special compared to other days? I think its a useless holiday.

What makes it special is that we as a culture make it special - and in that it is just like Christmas, or Halloween, or Easter.

Come on, don't tell me your opinion is not persuaded by the fact that you have someone dear to you. I don't care if my claim is unique or not. Have I ever cared at all about much of anything? Its not special at all. We have no reason to make it special either. I mean, the others have at least something going to for them. Who cares that St. Valentine married people in secret around 300 A.D. in Rome. Big deal.
