Sweet mother of God, I missed my own computer and having two hands to type with. Note to self, no more allowing people to put IVs in your hands. Those things are about as ungainly as trying to swim with a milestone around your neck. I think I scared a lot of people since I'm essentially around all the time....then suddenly I wasn't. It's a bit freaky.

On a plus side, maybe this has started your father down a path of wanting/needing to bond? Sometimes it takes illness to make someone really grow up when it comes to their relationship with said person. Or maybe he's just getting old and realizes that he never had the relationship that he thought he had with you. My dad's been doing that lately with us.

Glad to know you're doing better. From my end, I know just how horrible all that shit is.

And there could be a frog in Cinderella if you really want one. :)

I thought of you as they were constantly stabbing me for lab tests. I don't know if that's a good association or not, but I remember you going on and on about your certification test and I wondered if the person who was doing all the tests on me had agonized over their test the way you did...the things you think about when you're hyped up on medication and delusional from lack of decent nourishment.
