As for Horror anime stuff (I'm into those things and...erhm... I loved it!!!), try these:

Higurashi no naku koro ni (When the Cicadas Cry) - it has 2 anime seasons, an OVA and 2 live action movie adaptations. This is, by far, my most favorite psychological thriller/horror anime. ^__^

Hell Girl - which has three seasons... but season 1 is the best (on my opinion)

Umineko no Naku Koro ni (When the Seagulls Cry) - made by the same person who made Higurashi but... Higurashi is still the best!!! ^___^

Okami Kakushi (Wolfed Away) - The character designs were made by the manga duo Peach-Pit (who made DearS, Shugo Chara, Rozen Maiden and Zombie Loan)...

and... Zombie Loan - which is not really horror but given the plot well it can be one (maybe 0.00001%?)... as its about dead people and yes, zombies and a girl who can see people who are going to die... sadly, it only has 11 anime episodes and 2 unaired episodes, but the manga is great!!! <3

For movies try these:

Arang, Hansel and Gretel, The Grudge, One Missed Call, The Eye, The Ring (0-2)....

Thanks for so many recommendations~! Higurashi!? I’ve read the manga before back then when I was in Uni. I was so surprised why the manga with Moe girls are so bloody ==” I remembered my sleeplessness because of this manga since that time I stayed alone in a flat too. Brrr, just saw the poster of live version, looks very interesting, must see it! I’ve seen Hell Girl, nice anime too. I’ve read first volume of Zombie Loan, I just love the art, haven’t continued since then >< I’ve also watched all the movies except for Arang and Hansel & Gretel. The latter really look interesting too, I like lovely classic fables turn into horror stuff XD ohh…just googled it, it’s Korean too, eh?

This was really cute~ I'm really happy that no matter what, Tsuna always has a kind heart (even amidst all the mafia related business he probably has to attend to everyday) and is worrying for his friends. :)
I'm fine with the lack of 1827, it's nice to see things through a different characters perspective. :3
