Myrtle grew up in London with her two parents and her brother Julian until Julian moved out at 17 (when Myrtle was 11). She moved with him, not wanting to be alone with her parents who, while good people, were often busy and did not have much time to spend with their children. Something a little lighter -- favourite foods! What are their favourites / would they consider themselves passable/good cooks (I recall baking, but what about cooking?) / are they tea or coffe people, and how would they take it?
Myrtle's favourite food is of course cakes :D She is also fond of mashed or roast potato(s). Unfortunately she can't make much beyond beans on toast.
Julian's would be rice or pasta, with any kind of topping. He would think he's a pretty good cook, able to cook proper dishes and make things from scratch.
They're both very tea people. Julian with a spot of milk and a little sugar, Myrtle with a LOT of sugar.
