Hahaha! That absolutely feels like canon.

Chuck grinned at that. He always imagined Casey took it as a personal affront that Bryce was alive after Casey killed him.
Canon again-- the look Casey gets on his face every time Bryce shows up says exactly that.

"I finally did it,” he though contentedly, “I came in first.”
awwww... That thought is every bit as adorable as Chuck himself. :)
