-He is, essentially, an optimist. Even at the absolute worst of times, he believes in the best of people, and it's that unwavering optimism that keeps him going.

-He's not as dumb as he comes off, sometimes. He's simply a bit naive, but who an blame him - he spent 17 years sequestered away from the world. This is something he's growing out of, however.

-He doesn't WANT to be the leader, but he feels like he has to.

-He's still mad at himself for having spent 3/4ths of his journey striving for the wrong goal.

-A small, selfish part of him wishes he was still a child.

-His neutrality is very much a facade. He represses a lot of stronger emotions and impulses. This is a holdover from his childhood where he was raised by a very old, calm and collected man, and upon Shion's death, Mu grew up very VERY quickly on an emotional level.

-As standoffish as he can sometimes be, he likes to take care of people.

-Double entendres and other related phrases often go clean over his head.

-Fiercely FIERCELY loyal.

-Absolute pacifist. He can only be goaded to violence when the alternative involves someone else dying.
