Because a lot of the LJ socialites look like models and post pictures of themselves all over the place and all men want to add them to their list. :P

It doesn't bother me but I just want to point out that I'm not like that

I don't have AIM or else I'd hopefully get to know you a little before you considered adding me on here. So instead, a few reasons why I'd like to read your journal:

- I can be geeky too
- I also sometimes write long, depressing posts
- I comment regularly on my friends entries (in other words I won't just add you and never comment on what you've written)
- I'm not a model either
- I like Monty Python - especially Life of Brian and The Holy Grail.
