"let's just assume that I'll never find love or have a family and my career will go nowhere. That way I won't be so disappointed when it happens. Let's expect everyone's death so we won't be surprised. Let's just forget about dreams, because reality never, ever lives up to what you want."
~Resmiranda

God why do I feel I can relate to that.

I saw you added me to your f-list (Thanks for that.). I added you as well. Just came to check out your LJ.

In regards to your Resmiranda quote:

I relate to that. Expect the worst that way you're never disappointed, but there's always room for pleasant surprises. Unfortunately the mood that usually brooks such an outlook is not so pleasant. Sorry you're feeling bad.

Your portfolio:

By the way, I saw your drawings and renderings (from your portfolio). You're quite good. imo I'm not an expert by any means. I've taken some classes (I was an interior design major for a while.), and I have an appreciation for it. But anyway... I think you're good.

Is that quote from HotM?

I've read Fugue, and HotM, but I still need to finish reading the conclusion to HotM. I'm a fan of those two.

Yes, yes it is.
I haven't read Fugue, but I'm almost done with HotM.
I love these stories. There so well written. Though I'm not one to talk, I have really bad grammar skills. So I apologize in advanced. :)

Awww. Are you still in that frame of mind?

I believe life offers many chances for people to be happy, but it is an arduous task to find those things that make one happy. As far as a family goes, I have to also say that being married and choosing a family of your own means choosing somebody to keep you company over freedom. Freedom is compromise when you live under other peoples' rules after all, but for some, that is worth it.

Me, I am a little opposed to entering into a relationship despite all the attraction I display to certain women. The reason being is because I have about as much faith in them as I can throw them (me being with weak muscles right now sure says a lot with that saying).

I just think that one should live the life they believe is best for them and not to conform to the expectations of society that one needs to enter into a relationship in order to find happiness. Relationships are VERY complicated to put it lightly so I wouldn't be too caught up in the ideals of romance to overlook the logic in relationships.

No, I'm not.
I'm good :)
Thanks for the comment though.
I think I'll wait to get into a relationship. Well just till I graduate college. Which hopefully should be around 2007. Heh
Anyway, How are you?
I haven't talked to you in a great long while.
What have you been up to?

Sorry for the Delay. School, Noise, Work, Etc... novademon March 18 2006, 11:19:12 UTC
Well I'm glad that your frame of mind has been a lot less miserable. Me, it has been really worked up lately regarding unnecessary responsibilities and noise I have had to deal with, but that will dissipate for awhile very soon ( ... )
