I know, so many people are losing interest in it because Veronica it's so fucking hard to like the heroine. I cheer when she's wrong, or when she gets called on her shit. I hate these stupid short-lasing epiphanies at the end of the episodes. They're like annoying little cock teases.
I'd watch this show, if I could get caught up with past seasons. Veronica is hot. :P Like, the only thing I seem to have no trouble keeping up with on TV, is Heroes, since I can easily backtrack on that on nbc.com. God knows how late I was with Buffy/Angel- I had to bum off my friend his DVDs for both series, 2-3 years after Angel S5 ended.
KB is pretty, and she's a good actress. But she has a tendency to mouth off without even knowing the big picture, and her character as of late has been climbing on everyone's shit list. Even so, I still recommend that you try watching Season 1 (and 2) because that was when things were great! The writing was good and Veronica was, you know, likeable.
I didn't make it even halfway through this episode because Veronica's unreasoning hate of Madison just makes me want to gag. She hates Madison to the point of flames on the side of her head, yet has no problems with Dick who is just as if not more complicit in slipping her a drug and getting her raped? Seriously? I could handle it if she hated Dick for it, rather than just for him being an idiot (and it's more superiority and disdain than outright hate), but she doesn't.
That bothered me a lot too. It bothers me as much as finding that I sympathize with Dick-who-lacks-a-moral-compass, of all people. She has this overwhelming tendency to explode and throw blame in people's faces (like Madison and Logan, instead of Dick and... herself) and ignore her own faults and shortcomings. You can only play the victim card for so long before you really just have to start walking on your own two feet.
