Bless her :) Kiddie art always makes me melt. Funny how all the same "errors" (such as the sun in the corner and the birds drawn like McD logos) always happen when you're young, I remember doing those myself. Though I adore them all, bedtime self portrait and the chicken one were FTW this time.
Bramble used to draw these hilarious Harry Potter suns but the "sun in the corner" approach has unfortunately replaced that *sigh*. I'm a bit surprised that she hasn't changed her drawing style that much; in her age Katrina was already drawing things "they way they should be drawn" which is boooooring.
:D Harry meets a little lion. That sun just made my day shine brighter than a bunch of phoenix ashes! Wish I would've seen that before getting a somewhat normal sun tattooed on my arm.
Those are great! The "Three" cracked me up, of course, but I also love Life of a Chicken, the Seals and How to make a Bunny. It's amazing how rapidly their artwork progresses at this age. MiniPlu's pics this year look nothing like last year's, and I'm sure when she's seven, they'll look even more complex.
It's strange, isn't it, how it first seems that they can't draw but spaghetti for years and years, and suddenly when they start to draw their first real drawings they start to develop very fast!
What I also like about her drawings is that she varies the themes and because she's not very talkative still, her drawings are like a sneak peek into her soul which she keeps rather well hidden in general.
These are so wonderful. Are you sure that Life of a Chicken should not be your new LJ title?
I was thinking of you last night when I went to Chevy's for Mexican food. The guacamole was good, but the watermelon margarita was enormous and pink and confusing!

LOL!! It definitely has the right sound to it :))))
Seriously, I should maybe get her an easy book about making cartoons, she seems to be rather interested in that sort of thing. She makes these "books" all the time, the Totoro picture is actually the cover of her brand new Totoro book.
Chevy's!!! YUM!!! One of my tasks in my vacation to-do list was to finish our vacation album, gluing and writing things about our New York trip there, and I put the stuff you nicked for us in there :D
