I love seeing them all so happy and together. And the image of reporters trying to interview cranky Duck...*guffaws*

Thanks for enjoying! And I'm sure the nail gun was not plugged in... right? :)

Heh, I want to see clips of the reporters talking to Duck. *g* And I liked the glimpse of Emily!

Yeah, I think that would be a fantastic set of clips to watch. I can see Emily getting a kick out of her crazy Island friends. ;) Thanks!

*points to icon* That's my feelings about the whole story, but the image of Duck chasing a reporter with a nail gun will be in my mind's eye for a long time. LOL

Aww... this is also a very good ending to the side stories. I love the harmony of it all. And the idea of Duck stating he's King Queer on national television had me gurgling with laughter. The only thing I really missed was an actual appearance of Duck in this part *digs with her toe in the dirt* But that just goes to show that I do have favorites ;) I can't help it. I also loved the way you chaptered this part. Perfectly in tune with the thought behind the story, this charter of rights :) very ingenious

I didn't want Duck in here b/c after all, the side stories are about everyone else. And sometimes it's just funnier if the subject of the joke never shows up. There was also this half-poetical thought that this was the focus of the story moving from Duck on to the next generation, but whatever. :)

I picked the Fundamental Freedoms as a frame b/c originally this was about Buddy, and he struck me as someone who might care about something like that. I thought it'd still work fine with everyone else. I'm glad you found it fitting. :) Btw, random trivia: the characters show up here in backwards order to how they showed up in the side stories.

Thanks so much for reading!
