Well, I suppose it was also a development of the team, from four individuals who call each other by rank to a team that can grouse and laugh together and then to the new team, and of Teal'c, from that clueless alien to the guy who gets the Earth pop culture.

Okay, see, I had to go back and re-read it. Because I saw the development of the team in it, but I wasn't watching the development of Teal'c in particular. And that was VERY cool. Really. Well done.

Thanks! Teal'c is great to play with; he's got that cluelessness paired with his absolute seriousness, and then the dry humor. I love the humor of later seasons where he gets the pop culture (or thinks he does).

Ha! What a clever idea:) I could almost never tell which song was coming, and I loved the little details (how hard it is to translate spoken Babylonian, how Jack is not letting Daniel go until they nail down exactly where, about how only the N-S streets are named for vegetables, all the titles in the last section)
