yeah. i finally broke down and added quickreply. *adds TURNING THAT SHIT OFF to the todo list*

it's a per-user option. if the layout has the functionality and the remote user has that option turned on, it'll do it.
if the remote user has that option turned off or the layout doesn't have the functionality, it won't.
