I have ever been impressed by the speed with which Amazon ships orders but, of late, I have been dealing with the Amazon private vendors - those who sell used, out of print and other hard to come by books.
I am reading the book by Bob Woodward, The War Within. It is not well written. Most of it sounds like Woodward's research assistants turned in their notes and he published them without editing or polishing the prose.
I am so disgusted with this book about Anne Neville. The author has not made the slightest effort to keep her facts straight and makes the most ludicrous errors. ( The Reluctant Queen )
I do not know how many of those who read this journal are interested in historical fiction. However, I have stumbled across a remarkably good book in that genre.
