The hospice nurse says the itching is caused by the build up of uric acid which the body can no longer excrete.

Oh! I'm so sorry I didn't read your itchy post from a few days ago...we were in the middle of packing up the moving truck. I've experienced this with dialysis patients :(

How is your pain level? are you comfortable? Please make sure they make you comfortable.

I still can't believe this is happening. Just the other day I was in the shower and thought about how much your posts meant to me, and how sad I am for you.
