hey friend. loneliness, time, body, limitation. what grace we need daily from God.
i'm re-reading anne rice's Christ the Lord: Out of Egypt. it is so incredible. it's something i've so little done ; imagining Christ as a child. her narrative is refreshing and courageous (and the story of her journey to the point of the book's writing is amazing, and worth purchase of the book - she retells it in her 'author's note').
i HIGHLY recommend the novel.
it's been good for me to imagine the loneliness, the time, the body, the limitation of our Lord.
I have heard her interview with theologian NT Wright, sounds like she has spent a lot of time doing her home work and putting thoughts in her writing to honor God in this book. I plan to read it at some point, but currently reading Mark Haddon's "The curious incident of the dog in the night-time." I love the book so far. Kinda reminded me of "The catcher in the rye."
