So what I think I'm trying to deal with is a case of perceived rejection. Because… I really can't tell whether the people I'd perceived as possibly having some connection with are also perceiving that connection, or- and this is my main issue, I think- whether they're interested in/want to maintain such a connection

It's times like this where I wish LJ entries had like...a hit count or something. People don't always comment, but they do read and I wish there was some way to reflect that in some way. But I do enjoy reading your journal, hun. ^^

I think I might have heard of a feature like that? I'm not too sure, though. …it's entirely possible I could use it as something else to beat myself up with, so.
