On a totally random note - hi, stranger. How are you these days? :)

Yes, I'm afraid it's over. I'm not complaining though ;) Beta's just sent back the chapters, I'll post within a few days, possibly the weekend.

I'm all right, thanks for asking, how are you? College treating you well?

har, I read only 'Earthsea' from long ago in an English class of mine. I really liked the book, though I was a bit puzzled in certain areas because sometimes I don't process everything I read, but I liked the movie that was made from it. I bought the DVD just because it was cool to see it 'come to life'.

♥ hope you're well.

Glad to hear January's done. That must be a nice relief.

On the subject of books, Norwegian Wood and Middlesex caught my attention. NW I hadn't heard of before, but the setting, scenario, and to find that you found it engaging throughout piques my interest. MS I've been avoiding strictly because everyone I seem to run into is completely smitten with it. One day perhaps, once the fervor dies down.

cheers!

Yeah, feels great to have it done. Didn't think I'd finish!

I'm not sure how smitten the US is with Murakami, but he's v.popular here so I wanted to see what the fuss is about. And I happened to pick the one book that apparently deviates from his usual. There were certain things I took issue with but there always are. Overall, good stuff.

MS was a great read too, I enjoyed it. Didn't know that it belonged in the smitten-dom too.
