Fire Emblem...

The new Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, should be out in four days.

Gonna have to make a trip down to EB Games with my Game Boy SP (DS is too big) and about $30.

It's about damn time we got another one. XD

I thought it started here. I've been going to Electronics Boutique since probably '88 (although, I wasn't the one making purchases at that time).

GameStop just bought EB Games out, though... so all EBs should be GameStops in about a year or so.

I know that Fire Emblem is a strategy game, but how is it compared to FF Tactics? I love Tactics, but I'm not sure if I'll like Fire Emblem.

In my honest opinion, Tactics doesn't compare. I know people who have very fond feelings towards FFT (and some for FFTA), but aside from Advance, I've never really cared for that series.

Fire Emblem has a better story, better characters, it's humorous, it's fun, and while sometimes it might seem somewhat simple, it's really not.

Ever play Advance Wars? It's kinda like that, only with real characters and a real story.

Out of curiosity and since I'm too lazy to check my self, where is this one in the series?

Well, the first and only one we've gotten so far was 7.

This next GBA one is 8, and the Gamecube title is 9... so since the one title, we seem to finally be in the FE loop. Here's hoping we get 6, too.

I vouch that 6 is a necessity of life. At least for America's new investment in Fire Emblem. And possibly for the inner gaming freaks sanity. And even maybe, just maybe, the cheese...
