I believe the manga is by far more emotional than the anime could ever be. Simply because with the manga you get to imagine more, try to feel the emotions they are feeling.

True. Though recently I was quite impressed with the Jiraiya-Pein arch. I didn't really respond to the manga, but I was like BAWLING (okay maybe not) during the anime. And has some hope that it was going to be emotional during the Uchiha arch. I didn't think it would be bad, considering Kishimoto pretty much laid all the director-ing out in the manga. U_U
I wish I could spend money on pronz too, at least a bit more freely. I have to rearrange some priorities (like a haircut)... but... >_<;;;;
