copngrats on all the acceptances from top choices!!! yeah hun when it comes to ucla, just say no. u dont want to be known as the persian girl who never left home, as many of your friends will. go far hun, go far!!!

and on the upside, u can always exaggerate beverly hills to get some ass when you go away to school. well maybe that will only work for a guy. you get my drift.. right?

saw you were a big freaks and geeks fan so i decided you were very smart- i was so right!

I live in the bay area and I just want to advise you that UC Berkeley does not quite live up to its former reputation anymore. anyhoo, Congrats on all your acceptances.

wat do u mean it doesn't live up to its former reputation? it was rated #20 on the 2005 US world report of the 120 top colleges in the United States and in 2002 the London Times rated it #2 on its list of the 200 top colleges in the world.

its in regards to the "cool people" comment. I dunno about you, but ultra competitive, anal-retentive asshole nerds are not "cool" to me.

academically it can boast award winning professors and many graduates go on to do very important things, yadda yadda. When you leave from a well-known school like Berkeley you have more doors open to you and that is a plus.

But from personal experience, and the experience of family members and aquiantances, I find cal states to be more personally involved with the students.

it all probably depends on what you want to study though.
