Winter Wonderland

We were supposed to leave on Friday for a weekend visit with my dad, but the weather has been truly frightful so we hemmed and hawed until the last minute about going. When we woke up to a blanket of snow on Friday morning, we decided discretion is the better part of valor. I had a good time playing with kids outside and took some pretty pictures

Those pictures are so cute! We will have to head your direction come spring, so I can see those cuties in person again :) And yes, you did well to cancel. My sister has been driving for 7 hours and is only in Olympia on her way to Kenmore (where we are currently snowed in). We are probably going to have to hike down the big hill to meet her when she finally gets here!

yeah, you are certainly right to cancel. I've refused to drive anywhere since last Thursday and it doesn't look like I am going to be driving anywhere in the coming week either!
