Spring is in the air

The babe and I spent two fun hours at the park this afternoon. The sun is shining and it was such a pleasure to be outside. A little boy came over to talk to me, and Raine kept signing at him--it was really cute, but I felt bad for her since he had no clue what she was doing. Though he probably wouldn't have liked the fact that she kept calling

I was going to comment about how, until one has actually seen them both in real life, both moose and giraffes look equally cartoon-preposterous.

But I see that the word "moose" has already brought all the Alaskans out of the woodwork, so... :)

Me too, me too!! Spring is always wonderful, but when you are living with small children, it's a godsend. It just seems to me that kids are meant to be outdoors . . .
