I don't know if it is ending, but it has had a really long run. I think it is up to eight seasons now. Emily Deschanel just had a baby so possibly she might want to end the show.

Once they put the lead characters together, I got bored with it and stopped watching. David hasn't done any cons except ComicCon which isn't really for the fans. It's more about plugging movies and series. It's more industry related than fan related.

Did they kill off Jeremy on Vampire Diaries to set in motion a change in
Elena's character? Joss killed off Joyce to push Buffy into a more adult role.

I kind of doubt it. For one thing, Elena is going to be 18 forever, so. Part of Buffy's thing with Joyce's death was growing up and taking on adult responsibilities. But TVD hasn't seemed interested in doing that (for which I'm thankful, because Elena's family clearly has Money, so her working some crappy job would make zero sense), and if they were going to, I think the time would have been last season, when she still had a sibling to (theoretically) support. If anything, I think killing Jeremy is going to sever Elena's last ties to her humanity.

I agree. I didn't mean that Elena would shoulder more, but that it would push her into being more violent than she was before. Cut her ties to the mortal world and give her a new slant. I wouldn't be surprised if she became more like Katherine/RipperStefan. At least for a bit. I could see Stefan and Damon trying to calm her down and prevent her going wild. Jeremy was her last link in family. So she might just go overboard in grief.

I'm still hoping that Jeremy is OK ... I had hoped he and Bonny would be able to sort things out.

This show does twist things doesn't it - keeps it interesting though.

Lots of deaths on the show. They use death to push the characters to change. I'm not sure if Jeremy will come back or not. Sad cause the actor had real improved in his acting and changed his body for the role. I'm still surprised that they made Elena a vampire. I haven't read the books, but it seemed she was turned in the books. They don't follow the books complete I was told, but they kept that in. I'm still wondering if they will bring in the original family member of Elena's and Katherine's that was used in the spell to make the family vampires.

see it's a good thing I didn't read this before I saw Jeremy get killed. I still can't believe they did it. I'm still shocked.

Arrow is my new favorite show on TV right now and Steven Amell is a hottie. Although the actor who plays Tommy is cute too.

I was sad they chose to kill off Jeremy, but I understood the action. It will set Elena on a course of grief which leads to accepting being a vampire now. She will give Katherine a run for her bad self.

Lots of hotties on Arrow. Makes it easy to watch.

I really wonder if he even signed on with the con? James' son was with him at the con. His band played while there.
