Seems Sarah is going to try for a sitcom this time.
It will involve her as a mom with a husband and kids.
The story line will be about what the parents do when
the kids aren't around according to reports.

The potential new series is now in development at 20th Century Fox TV. Gellar
apparently showed interest in the project after reading a spec script ( Read more... )

Did Ringer get cancelled? I watched the first two and realised if I had watched even one minute of one more ep I would lose the will to live and just die right there, so stopped.

I think Sarah may have had her hay-day with "Buffy" to be honest, sorry if that sounds bitchy.

I tried very hard to watch Ringer, but it was just terrible. I think Sarah has been a bit of a bitch over the years herself. She really hasn't been nice to the Buffy fans. She made comments about Joss when the series ended. I think she wanted to distance herself from the Buffy fandom and move onto movies. She made one or two that were okay, but most of them were not great. Ringer was just horrible.

I think she ruined her fanbase when she got all haughty and thought she was gonna be some global movie superstar and TV was beneath her and I am not sure she ever got them back.

I certainly never wanted to watch anything with her in again after I heard what an absolute bitch she was. She wouldn't do any of the extras on the DVDs of Buffy or Angel. WTH? Also, she clearly didn't like JM and loathed having to play love scenes with him. She just doesn't seem like a nice person at all and in the game she is in if you keep your fans happy then you have them for life.

It was her own stupid fault imho and meh to her and any interest I might have had in anything else she ever does, that's just how I feel. *shrug*

James being James tries to only say good things about his co-workers. Sometimes things slip through in his talks. I think Sarah disliked how popular the other actors got as the season went on on Buffy. Alyson and James got really good notice. Sarah didn't like season six. I think she that was when she started just showing up and not really acting. I think the show would have had a eight season, but she refused to sign up. She and Joss had different ideas on where the character should go ( ... )

Ringer was just not good. The writing was horrible. Comedy may work better for her.

Sarah needs to give it up.

I'm sorry but she lost her appeal after season 3 of Buffy to me. She can't act for crap. She is too plastic and it shows. Really the only thing I ever cared for in was Cruel Intentions but even then it was more for Ryan Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon.

I think she has moments when her acting is good, but her attitude sucks. She thinks she is better than the other actors she works beside. She was a bit too full of herself after Buffy. I think the lack of success in movies drove her back to TV and Ringer was a bitter pill to swallow. This is her third try for TV now. Her husband's show didn't last very long so I guess she needs to work now. He has done some voice work in games I think.
