That's really interesting, I went off Joss with how he ended Angel and that awful bloody season 2 of Dollhouse, but years later I am feeling more positive about him hehe

James said they ran out of money when Angel ended so they just poured tons of water on them. The ending would have been very different if they had been picked up instead of being cancelled. They had plans to bring Amy back as Fred along with Illyria. I was upset with how they did Lorne at the end. Having him shoot Lindsey wasn't Lorne's sort of thing.

The second season of Dollhouse they had the network giving them a difficult time. They had to put in more time for commercials so less time for real story. It was a bad experience for everyone. Just like how Fox treated Firefly.

But how Joss did the Avengers was amazingly good. I think he will have an easier time of it now when he does TV.

Oh I knew about Fred and Illyria too, it would have been a great Hulk type thing if when she got angry or got insert-emotion-here she turned into Illyria!

Well the network flaming well murdered Dollhouse season 2 then, cos I cant be doing with apocalyptic story lines and it went from a small elite thing to WORLDWIDE DOMINATION in 5 seconds and just silly, including make the English women a good guy and blah blah, hated it. Loved Season 1 too....

Eliza had an option to do a show for Fox. She asked Joss to work on it with her. I doubt he would have worked for them again if she hadn't asked him.

Some of the actors on Dollhouse just blew me away. Enver Gjokaj did that bit where he was programed to be Topher and he nailed it. Fran Kranz who played Topher was just wonderful. He is in Cabin In The Woods as well. Dichen Lachman is an amazing actress and has gone onto more rolls where I enjoy her acting just as much. Amy Acker as Whiskey and Dr Claire Saunders was really bad ass. Alan Tudyk did the role of Alpha. I had never seen him play a bad guy, but he was very impressive in it.
