Tornadoes in Dallas area.

We have had a couple of Tornadoes touch down around the Dallas area this afternoon.
Where I live the sirens went off, but we only got rain.  lives about twenty mins
away and said they are having rain at the moment.  Hopefully the worst if over for our area.

I am worried about gabrielleabelle  because a tornado did touch down close to where
she lives.  I hope she is

Tornadoes really don't scare me. My mom and grandmother were terrified of storms. They would drag me down into the storm shelter even if there was a drop of rain. I spent many an hour down in a hole in the ground. So I guess because I hated that I would rather stand on my front step watching the storm.

I did move into the most inner hallway today when the sirens went off here. I was home with the dogs and the sirens freak them out. We live less than a mile away from the fire station where the sirens are. They are very loud and hurt the dogs' ears. It raining quite hard here right now. I'm watching the radar for our county and we are on the edge of the storms.

Those shots of trucks being levitated have been all over the news tonight. Glad they missed you and hope everyone else in that area is safe.

We live away from where that video was shot. I don't think anyone was killed in the storms, but a few were hurt. It's amazing how big this storm was. It's reported that there were 15 tornadoes in our area. I'm going to post more about it in a bit.

The rain was horrible. We didn't have hail or tornados but it was still really bad.

I've been in tornadoes several times and been lucky each time. Crossing fingers that does not change.

Lots of damage to homes, schools and businesses, but no loss of life. We were blessed it wasn't worse. They have counted a total of 15 tornadoes yesterday.
