It reminded me of when Spike was telling Dawn about the girl in the coal shuttle. Spike treats her like a person and not a kid. It's why she loves him.

Sad, and wise and so real. Love the fact that dawn still had a taste for the whole truth, and Spike still had his niblet. Nice picture of a time and place.

Thanks. When I was writing this, this scene popped into my mind.

I love to write of moments between The Gift and Bargaining(part 1).
I hate Joss didn't give us any of that time. So I fill it in myself.
