01: Ed, you are a light in an often dark world. You have a warmth and happiness about you that seems unable to be dampened.
02: When October Goes, because you sent me that song via post when I expressed my love for the month of October.
03: 6:00am, because I envision you being up and doing your daily walking at that time.
04: Open - You are just an incredibly open soul.
05: When we were going around Seattle, showing you the sights, and you just took in the beauty of your surroundings. No rush, no hurry. Just taking every moment in.
06: A Cat: because cats typically seem content most of the time. They are active and keep themselves up, while enjoying every moment in the sunshine they can get. They are also quite curious animals, just as you are.
07: Do you think your life would different if you were born 20 years later? If you were a Baby Boomer, do you think you would have been a part of the gay swinging 70s? Or would you still have preferred woman over men because of your deep religious background?
me me me...You do know that you and I are probably the only people who know who Tanita Takarim is. Her and Tasmin Archer with her "Sleeping Satellite".
It's funny - the reason why I know this song is because I was watching the VMAs in 1989. She was nominated for Best Female Video, and I was like "who?" I then caught it on Post-Modern Video (remember that show?) and loved the song

1. Record at least one album and do at least one live concert. I've had this list of 20 songs or so that I've wanted to do that are some of my favoite songs ever. I have most of it sequenced. I suppose if I got off my ass and found a band, I could probably complete my goal, eh? ;-)
2. Establish a non-profit foundation of some sort. It would probably be a music foundation of some sort or something around cancer since my Grandma died from it and other relatives as well.
3. Have a successful relationship. :-)
4. My work goal is to get into Hear Music at the moment.
Interesting that you wonder (#7) precisely what Jeff had asked me once. His question at the time caught me off guard, but I think it's a very appropriate one and I've thought about it a lot. If you want to know my response (I assume you do) I'll e-mail you soon. ed
You don't know me, but I saw your post from somebody I know's friends list. I've met Anthony...Hi, Anthony! I am soooo impressed that you both know of Tanita Tikaram. I grew up in Germany and she has been one of my top 5 since high school. I have all of her albums and I just adore her. Yay! What a pleasant surprise. You're right...nobody in this country seems to know who she is.
