Work was hellish today. Lots to do, lots got done. I have a major pet peeve about government agencies getting the wrong head office business address for work and making my job a hell of a lot harder - BUT I'll bitch about that another time

When we used to go "shopping", we didn't need coupons, did we?? Oh those were the days....

Yeah, I make sure to go through the weekly ads and only buy things a)on special and b)that we'll use. We don't do that huge sort of extreme couponing thing. And you have to wait for stuff to go on sale... or it's not really worth it.

Well, my writing speed only applies to first drafts. I use a chat programme written by a friend which allows for word wars. I set consecutive 20 minute timers and track my progress at the end of each one. And refuse to let myself stop until I hit point 35 in my plot outline. Pretty much comes down to forcing myself to plant my butt in that chair (or papasan, I love my papasan)
Before I started working out detailed point by point plots, I couldn't do this to save myself. Now I find it harder to stop once I start.

Once I get the first three books done, I'll go back to revise #1... and see how snail like my pace becomes ^_~

And 2k? that's still a book every 6-8 weeks. 2k is freaking awesome.
