Just to be consistent, I'm bringing over my last ATWT-related fic from IJ to share. But there's no Luke or Reid, so you've been warned.
Background: For a friend's birthday, I gave her a pic-a-fic present - she randomly chose two characters off a list of ten, one scenario off a list of five, and a rating. What did I end up with?
Roman (AWZ) and Noah

I'm glad you didn't include too much Luke/Reid in this fic. it wouldn't have been appropriate. This is Roman's and Noah's story. That's where the focus should be.
I can't help but want Noah and Roman find happiness together. I'm a hopeless romantic LOL! I wouldn't mind reading a sequel.

Sadly, I don't see a sequel in the future for this fic, because in canon Roman and Deniz just recently got past the issues surrounding their breakup and got back together, and I'm absolutely thrilled with that. (On a side note, OMG you really should watch AWZ. It's an absolutely amazing show, and Roman is one of my favorite characters, EVER.) But I do hope that this interlude helps Noah find what he wants and needs in a partner, and ends up in a healthier, happier place down the road. But not with Luke. :)

THIS IS FLIPPING BRILLIANT! HOW IN THE HELL DID YOU PULL THIS OFF?! I cannot even imagine how you came up with this.
They're both SO in character (yes, that's the Noah-fan seal of approval you hear). This idea of them both kind of twisting in the wind, trying to move on with their lives without the loves they lost, is inspired.
And I don't mind the notion for this fic that Noah didn't bottom with Luke, simply because it allows Roman to introduce him to the joys of bottoming. Roman Wild is definitely no man's full-time sub, as you said. And then the bittersweet end. They're not right for each other, but for now, they'll twist in the wind... together. Because it's maybe just a bit less lonely than doing it alone.
Take a few steps back, please. I need the floor space to bow at your feet. PHENOMENALLY done!

Thanks so much! I'm thrilled to have a Noah-fan's seal of approval on this. :) I'm obviously more in tune with Roman, which is why I kept the POV in his court, but I really did want Noah to ring true as well. So thanks for that!
And I'm so glad you enjoyed my angst-fest borne of such a cracky premise. Thank you for the comments!
