Of... of course it does! [Congrats, Medicine Seller. You've managed to make Kayo impossibly flustered. And with that, she'll just continue to stare at the floor. Yeah.]
So I, um... I'll just be going to see if there's anything left to make tea with.
[Slowly creaking out of the room now. What is this, her life.]

[Beautifully hilarious]
[Does this mean he wins? He just watches her as she studies the floor, before smiling just a little more as she excused herself to find items to make tea]
[She involuntarily squeaked at his words but that was soon followed by an irritated "huh!"-- all of this as the door shut behind her.
Now tea. Tea. She scuffled about the small apartment, looking around for something that she might use for such a drink. After some searching, she bumped into a rather large object.
[And several painstaking minutes later- no explosions or any chaos having occurred- Kayo appears from behind the now slightly open door, a cup of tea in hand.
Awkwardly, she shifts closer and holds out the drink for him.]
Here.
[Careful, MS, her hands are trembling quite a bit.
I just... don't feel very much like drinking anything right now. [What she said was probably the farthest thing from the truth. Her mouth and throat were terribly dry.
From what? Oh-ho-ho-ho. Well, you know, embarrassing things.]
[Oh good. A distraction. Kayo shall take this with great relief.]
Well, there's not much. I've been trying to ration the food amongst us, but... There won't be anything by the end of the week unless a Mad Cow's corpse just magically appears on our doorstep.
[Siiigh. In other-words, it's time to tighten the ol' belt.]
Naja-san...? Oh. You idiot. You... you had me worried-
I, er...! I'm sure she's taking very good care of you.

I... [And there was that little flame of attitude again.] You... you know what I was about to say!
[Yet as quickly as it burst forth, it blew out.]
Reply
Do I?

Of course you know-- you know that I did- no... do like you!
[She means- what.
WAIT.
WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY?!]
Reply
I see.
[Doesn't look like he's picking on her, though there's an actual smile on his face this time]
That would... explain quite a bit.

The box.
The Medicine Seller's box.
Oh! She could probably find something in there.]

You... are welcome to a cup... if you desire it.

How much food is left... in our room?

Ahhhh...! What are we going to do?!
[Kayo doesn't care if he doesn't want to, he's helping, dammit.]
