I'm going to have a heart attack. The loonie is now equal to the US dollar. Ugh, we're shaking hands with the peso.

I'm planning on visiting Montreal or Quebec City next year. This better not get worse.

Since when do people go to Canada to shop? The GST and all that tax puts it out of range. ;-)

But even with food, I was able to tell a difference between my expenses during my trip in 2003(ish) to 2006. Also, you do get GST back from at least the hotel stay. :)

heh I usually don't have to spend money on hotels and I didn't spend enough to get the GST back. blah.

Andrew has been telling me for over a year that the loonie is suppose to surpase the dollar by next year, so umm.. expect it to get worse.

Yeah. I know. I predicted this was going to happen when Bush got re-elected. I thought about investing in foreign currency back then, but changed my mind. :/
