I'm back from BC. Wow, what a nice country. Perhaps one day I will make it out to the Ontario/Quebec region. I can see where Canadians get their reputation for being nice people...they are! Saw a few instances that I would have never seen in the US. Vancouver reminded me of San Francisco, only cleaner, more modern, less crowded, and friendlier. I ( Read more... )

Nothing gets me more excited than regional goodies/food. What's the deal with Tim Hortons? I saw them up in Connecticut and wondered if they were anything special.

Haha, me too.

Actually, nothing special about Tim Hortons. Canadian version of Krispy Kremes. I do like their Ice Caps though.

the end of the month we are going to toronto and niagra - can't wait!

there's lots of cool things you can get there that we don't have here.

did you hit a duty free store?

I highly recommend their ice wine! Look for the ones made in Ontario or around Niagara Falls. Fantastic stuff.

I did go into a DFS, but didn't buy anything there.

Have fun on your trip! I hear Toronto is really nice.

Nope! No problems at all. In fact, I only brought along my birth certificate and photo ID. Didn't need a passport.
