They are indeed. :-P It's sad really. I often think when I hear ignorant people, that isn't the most important thing that you love your kids and care for them? Not what gender you are? It's just stupid. :-P

It's good that you acknowledge the awesomeness of the kids in your school, I'm sure they feel overshadowed by the hooligans too and need a grown-up to let them know their awesomeness is appreciated. :)

Well, you have to. Also, I have a weird sense of humor. You have to be able to laugh at the craziest things or you'll go insane. :-) And hey, awesome kids? Always makes my day look brighter. :-D Most of the teachers here at this school do the same, I think. I'm just the school-librarian. :-)

I love school librarians, you guys always let me into the school! (I do a lot of outreach for our public library so usually that is the best contact person for me)

It sounds like work is all kinds of awesome and good for you for acknowledging the non-hooligans. The bad kids get enough attention. I've done that comment-thing to help writers, too, and it really is fun.

I bet that Frozen house was a huge hit with the neighborhood. We have a couple neighbors that go a bit nuts but most of us are a lot more conservative with our holiday lights.

Re: The Gay Dads video. People are ignorant and rude.

The way the women looking on were smiling at the woman abusing the man was really disturbing. In way was that amusing at all?

That tube experience story was hilarious and awesome. That old lady is my hero, too. Fuck that guy.
