Holy smokes lady, it seems like you were quite busy. Dang. Is it going to ease up a bit now?

I'm sorry to hear about your former boss/burnt out boss.. it sounds like all those hours she put in finally caught up to her. That's a real shame. :( Could they hire someone else to replace the person who quit? And maybe an extra person to cut back on her hours? Maybe if she worked less, she'd even out a bit?

It has eased up. Quite a bit. For the simple reason that burnt out colleague has been removed from this library. And is not coming back. She's either getting another position, and if they can't find one for her she'll get sacked. It's been going on for far to long you know?

So now things are pretty good. Just in time for me to settle in and then get another job... *lol*

Wow, it sucks that that will happen to her but it seems like the best option for the library and maybe even for her. I am glad that things have gotten better for you! :) Even though, it kinda sucks that you'll be moving to another job after this finally settles. Lol.

My new job is going to be tough, but in another way I think. A challenge for sure! But with better workmates, I hope. Fingers crossed and all.

I just hope my Awesome Colleague gets a break, you know? He's a great guy and what with all the staff-troubles he's at the end of his own rope. But you're right. For the library and it's staff... and for Crazy Colleague... Yeah, it's better for everyone. You are very right there.

I didn't realize the burned out coworker was your former boss. That's got to be tough. I'm sorry you're dealing with all of this.

Yeah, she is. She taught me a lot at my first librarian job. So it's really tough seeing her like this, you know?

Won't have to deal with it anymore. She's been removed from this library and is not coming back. It's just been going on for far to long, you know?

So now it's a pretty good workplace. A bit stressful now and then, but not hopeless. So now, of course, I get transferred and will start another job. X-D

It's a huge, huge mess. And I probably don't even know half of it. She's been removed from this library now though and won't be coming back. But alas, instead of enjoying the calm for very long, I'll be transferred to another job as well, so... There's that. :-)

Oh boy, it sounds horrendous! I think burnt out colleague should do herself and everyone else a favour and go on extended sick leave until she can cope again.

It would make extra work for the rest of you, of course, but since you're already having to do extra to rectify all the mistakes she's making because of being burnt out, it may not make much difference.

She's been on and off sick leave for quite long apparently. This is not a new issue. It's apparently been going on for years and years. But now, finally, she's been removed from this library and pretty much been forced on a sick leave. She's not coming back. Either they find a new position for her after her sick leave is over, or she's getting sacked. It's that bad currently. But at least we don't have to deal with her again. Gladly.

So you'd think I could enjoy myself now, right? Unfortunately not. *lol* I'll be transferred to another job. Going back to the refugee filled school with the troubled kids to take over that library and make it my own. :-)

It IS very challenging. But I've learned much and now I won't have eccentric old men commenting on everything I do... So I feel ready to go back to that school. :-)
