Note: This post was written a few weeks ago, but I didn't get the photos uploaded until now...And then there was the visit from New York. I still have a hard time believing they’ve really been here! o.O

It really was an amazing time. :-) I don't know what I did to deserve a visito to little Sweden all the way from New York, but I'm very grateful for it. It was magical to be able to meet my dear friend ruchirahni in person. :-)
Aw, this is such a great post! I loved all the pictures. Yes, you are a giant. LOL Loved the cows, and the pic w/your mom and Alexandra. AND Ozzy on the counter. Most people I know would scream bloody murder with a cat on the counter, but ours are allowed up there, too. :)
Well, ruchirahni isn't the only one who seems to think I am a giant! X-D snowstromskies thought so to when she visited me last year! *lol*
Although apparently I give great hugs. ;-)
Cats on the counter is just something I've grown up with. My first cat and all the ones after have been allowed there, so it was just natural to let my cats get up there to. :-) Only place they're not allowed are on the tables, but alas... they do so like to be there even if they know they're not allowed to. ;-) Cats, I tell you...
:) I can finally catch up now that I've finished my posts! I didn't want to steal yours so I stayed away.
Yes NY Public library is beautiful!!! it is the only one of its kind though pretty much, and it is beautiful but it's not as COMFORTABLE and homey as your libraries. .it's gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but it's a bit like studying in a museum.
i miss you so much. thanks for all the loving kind words about what a great doc I'm going to be. the thing is, if all my patients were like you and your family, my life would be heaven anyway. also, i love all the captions. also, please remind your brother to wear goggles. its been two months, so he might be getting complacent now.
give your mom a giant kiss from me. and i do mean giant.
and i am so happy and beyond fortunate to have you. thank god we were internet geeks way before the advent of social media, where all contact is fleeting and meaningless and quick. we were lucky enough to develop a REAL bond, and have conversations that really mattered, even when we didnt' always agree, way before 'liking' photos and status updates. we know each others hearts and i don't know how often you can say that anymore.
sara told me to tell you that our friendship (mine and yours) made sara wish she had more of an internet presence. coming from sara, that's a HUGE compliment, because she's fairly anti-technology!
personally though.. i think ours was one in a million; and a lot of good fortune. friendship takes work, and we've both put time and love into this and nurtured it. but there's something of luck and fate to be said that we were on the same blogging platform at the same time and let's NEVER EVER FORGET... ..it was XENA who brought us together. ;) <3
