What a f***ing day...

This day... has NOT been good. Christ!

Started late last night. I was so wide awake I didn't go to bed until a bit past midnight. Couldn't relax. Tossed and turned, but couldn't fall asleep.

Then Alexandra woke up. OF COURSE! And having a bit of a cough, she couldn't fall asleep either. Finally I just tossed her in bed with me and peting73 so she could ( Read more... )

pissed off, work, my love, peting, life, stress, ranting

Can the kids be banned from the library? That's what they do here. It doesn't touch the root of the problem, but makes things easier on you.

They can indeed! But since the door is unlocked (so all other kids can get in), we'd have to throw them out again and again and again and again... Which is troublesome in and off itself. *sigh* I hope HOPE things will get better next term. So they are banned (unless they are there with a teacher, of course). We'll see if the bann will continue after summer.

Holy cow, what a bad day! I'm sorry it was so rough, and I really hope all of you can get some much-needed rest tonight. Also hope that the headmistress does something about those destructive kids to make it easier for you. Take care! <3

Yep. It was probably the worst day so far. I've had a couple of bad days actually at this work, mostly stress over The Big Move and troublesome kids. These are only the worst ones. Sadly there are are a few more. :-/

Seconding the banning from the library comment. I hope the headmistress sorts them out.

They are working on sorting them out. They are. And I have full faith in the leadership of this school. From what I've seen so far, they really rock. Kids ARE banned from the library so far, even if it'll be hard to make sure they keep out. Hopefully it'll help and that they'll have calmed down at least a little bit until next term starts.

You get used to it. :-) Promise. Here we have paid maternity leave for a whole year, so I got used to being a mom first, and then I could get used to being a working mom. :-) Worked out great!
