Alive and breathing! And baptism...

These last few days have been... somewhat not fun. :-P I know being a parent ain't fun and games all the times, I fully expect that. But when I can't keep my eyes open when my mom comes to visit then things are quite bad. :-P I swear to anything holy, I worked so so hard to keep my eyes open and I just couldn't... I kept seeing double. Then I feel ( Read more... )

Oh, you poor thing! What a horrible time. I bet I will be just like you when the baby is here - falling asleep at inappropriate moments! My hubby will help a lot (as long as he doesn't get sick too!) I hope you are able to have a break sometime and get some sleep. You need it!

Six cheesecakes?? Wow, you must have a lot of mouths to feed! Best of luck for the baptism and I hope the dress survives ^^

I usually don't fall asleep like that, but since Peting had been ill and pretty much didn't do a thing, plus the baptism... cleaning the apartment... and baking all them cakes... It finally ended up to much for me. :-P And I started to fall asleep here and there. *lol* I don't do it now though. :-)

We were around 25 people on that baptism. And we had ordered food for it and also those cheesecakes. Lots of people. Lots of eating. :-D

Amazing! And damn scary to have a baby that moves around like an eel in it! X-D But it survived and Alexandra survived and everyone is happy! :-D

And since Peting is now pretty much well again, back to work and all... He now makes sure I do get some time to myself. :-) YAY!

I think that's ok to feel that way about being a mom. Motherhood is a full-time job, and like with any job, sometimes one just wants a break and there's nothing wrong with that!

That dress sounds so beautiful, both in its physical form and in its history.

You're welcome for the reaction video! Sorry I couldn't stomach it! I can't believe it was the mildest and sweetest!

Even short breaks of just a few minutes are bliss. :-) Don't mean I love Alexandra any less, but I think those minutes make me a better mom, you know? :-D

The baptismal gown was scary to use... Imagine that and a baby moving around like an eel in it... Scary times! But it was beautiful! And I am very happy we dared to use it. :-)

Your reaction video still make me snicker, I swear. X-D And I don't mean any harm with it! The reactions to liquorice on people from other countreis always amuse me! :-D I was actually surfing YouTube for vids of liquorice-reactions the other day! X-D
