Jesus H Christ, the dramas!!! o.O OK, this is all about the blinkie community on LJ. So, ignore this if you don't know what I am talking about

I have no idea what's going on either, but I've had enough too. I had already left a few places but it looks like I have to leave more, which is unfortunate.
It is just insane. I don't even think they are aware of that they are scaring members and those that might wanna try there hand on this thing away.... Who ever they are. :-P
This kind of stuff is exactly why sassy has a no drama policy and we try to stick to it. We removed a maker yesterday because she brought drama with her. It's simply not allowed in sassy. *hugs* Sorry you're feeling pulled into the crap going on. I try to keep as much of a distance from it as I can.
The interesting thing is that in some of the communities where it all went down they have a no drama policy to. Sorry, but it seems that thats just words. At least for some comms. It is just pissing me off that just because you sit safely behind a computer and you can put together pixels on the screen in a pleasing manner, you can act like asshole. I, as a member and user is getting pretty feed up with it. Especilly when you at the same time are encouraged to request blinkies... :-P
+sigh+ I really hate the drama among makers as well. I wish they realized what they were doing. I've already left every solo blinkie comm, I don't request that often [usually onlyif it is a child-related blinkie and those don't pop up often] so I don't want to be dragged into it anymore than I already am. Then, everytime I see a post at a comm about some sort of drama or another - I leave. Not like 'hey, this is a no-drama zone' but 'omg xxxxx did such and so to another maker and I'm going to yell a tyou all about it.' =o\ It's so intense and scary to be a maker right now. Drama was ALWAYS there but it seams like it really really got bad recently. It's sad. It really is. I can understand being upset if someone stole my boxes & I would let other makers know about it. But, other than that - what can you do? Besides not post anything online at all. I just feel like everyone has taken this way out there - out of hand. +sigh+ It's sad.. =o

Well, your a maker to. ;-) Still amazed that you have managed to stay out off it. As far as I have seen, at least. And your right. You can never get rid of drama 100%, but when it gets to these levels it is just ridiculous... And no. I won't leave yours. (Can't speak for Jan, though.) I'll go through my list of blinkie/graphics comms and check them out one at a time and only stay in those I feel welcome and where they make graphics I like. Makes sense, no?
Have fun! Kudos to him for being able to run the half marathon. Personally, I'm proud of myself when I manage to run up the three flights of stairs to my room without getting out of breath.
Oh, I am so proud off him! It was awesome seeing him running among all the others and cheering him on together with his mom! We were both very very proud then! Managed to snap a pic off him to! :-D
