And oh, my, what an awesome episode! All of it and all the characters were wonderfully visual, but some of my favorite moments:
I liked the descriptive alliterativeness of “a furious LeFevre.” And him “perching” on the credenza and “making air quotes”.
His relationship with Leona as sketched out in the car over drive-thru food, her concern for him and that he get the time and money he needs to live up to his potential with the inventions, how she fondly calls him Brose.
Jeb’s deep concern of maybe living in a lavender house! *laughs*
The star chart on the ceiling of the attic room giving us a clue as to who lived there once.
And oh, but you conveyed so well that awkward ‘it’s just gonna take time’ feeling of being new somewhere, while Ambrose is desperately trying to make small talk and ask for lemonade mix. And Jeb taking in all the details, like the child’s drawing on the bulletin board.
Simply Marvelous!

Ambrose and Leona, Leona and Ambrose, she's so much more of a big sister than a younger cousin. I think I owe you eveyrone some pre-series backstory on them, because the LeFevre clan knows ~drama~.
Your detail-picking always makes me happy because, again, you get bits that I like. Thank you for taking the time to read and absorb, nilliey-dear, I treasure your comments.

Also, Ambrose. Jeb. Fast friends, right there. Oh yeah. :p

Yes, yes, Jeb. Your new other-daddy is weird, but you'll get used to it and someday he'll let you drive his car. Maybe.
LATER THAT EVENING:
"You drink, Wyatt?"
"I have a beer every now and again."
"All right. How about you, Jeb?"
"WHAT?"
"...just figured I'd ask. Knowing ahead of time is important."
