Ahem, Mt is moritanium, and as Alan Cumming Glitch Ambrose tells us (in part 2 of the crackalicious miniseries "Tin Man" which I thoroughly encourage you to download from somewhere): "Besides its strength, moritanium is valued for its ability to conduct magical energy." (Seriously, I know you like insane/cheap/convoluted scifi/fantasy, and if you've ever had a passing interest in "The Wizard of Oz" you may like this. Plus there's built-in slash! Canon male/male field hypothermia treatment! And did I mention Alan Cumming in a ridiculous costume?)
