Facepalm Gambit is Facepalmy

I need to grow new distractions, to distract me from my distractions, if you can understand that. I need so much in the way of lolz right now but feel guilty for wanting and/or looking for them, like I'm living in a universe of "doing it wrong" with everything I touch and look at.

So here, have some distractions: luchia13 was fabulous and put up the final ( Read more... )

agreed, and now I have a sudden urge to do a staging of 'Cabaret' where the Emcee dresses and talks like Joel Grey but is still the Emcee.

And green is not failz, green is a pretty color no matter what the day. Especially if it's shiny.

...dude, I think I've said it repeatedly but once we're able to figure out how to pull off a non-canon AU "Koude!: The Musical" Zen is so on tap for the Emcee. And I know what his singing voice is like because Damian Lewis is a crackhead.

The shirt had poofy sleeves, ER. Poofy. I got it off the $6 "please take this off our hands" rack at JC Penny's. It's gloriously weird.

For what it's worth, you don't have to feel guilty about distractions and amusement. It's normal and human and actually kind of necessary. Not sure what else to say. For new distractions, I'd recommend Farscape, but I don't know if it's your bag.

I'd probably flail and gibber a lot at "Farscape," I mean it has puppets in space as well as heaping bowls of crack, but I just... somehow managed to avoid it. And SPN. And all the Stargates.

The problem comes when I try to distract myself with emo, and so I just end up all nervy. *hugs* Thanks, though, I will try and laugh as much as is tasteful since besides "total avoidance" humor is my favorite coping mechanism.

Thank you so, SO much for posting that run of Willkommen. That just... totally made my day. ::hugs::

And for linking to 13 Annuals! I didn't realize it had finished!

And it is good to get glee out of a shiny satin green shirt. <3
