I'll warn you, the books themselves are absolute misogynistic dreck filled to bursting with Mary Sues and Gary Stus and AAAAAAAANGST.

On the other hand? Telepathic, teleporting and (sometimes) time-traveling dragons. With lisps. Who soulbond with people for life and love them unconditionally. Oh, and then there are little mini-dragons who do things like chitter, croon, and chirup.

Oh I could never actually have gotten to play that hatching, there was So Much Volume - I seriously need a smaller weyr that I actually remember to pay attention to. I miss Black Bay. A serious huge lot.
