I don't understand how sometimes people on AIM are idle for longer than they've been online. Hmmm.

Anyway, tonight was fucking obnoxious.

I'd been wanting to go to either Borders or Barnes & Noble for a little while now. I really want to buy this PJ Harvey album, and I wanted to get the most recent issues of Bust and Bitch magazines. I prefer ( Read more... )

Hey, me too. I actually have my laptop on this bed tray, at the foot of my bed, constantly. On top of the laptop (when it's closed) I put books, magazines, bags of snacks I'm in the process of eating, CDs, DVDs... I had a friend sleep over a few months ago and she was like "do you always sleep with so much stuff on your bed?"

I also have remotes and a landline telephone next to my pillow. It's kinda crowded up in here, yo.

That sucks. I know all about losing retainers. I had one for years in elementary school and many days after school My dad would have to go dumpster diving to go find it for me. Then ensued massive amounts of cleaning and disinfecting....

I hope your dentist can get you fitted with a new one. After this much time isnt it kinda time to get a new one anyways?

I've almost lost mine several times in the past, but now it's gone for good. Haha.

It probably might be time to get a new one, I don't know. That one really was there only to keep my one wayward tooth straight--it was so small that it only fit around my teeth from incisor to incisor, and the plastic part that goes on the roof of the mouth only covered the back of those teeth. My aunt called it my "worm" because it was little and "worm-shaped," apparently, in her mind...

on the aim-idle conundrum:

i'm pretty sure that there're simply a plethora of programs that let users set their own idle time these days. therefore, i think the proper thing to be curious about is why people feel the need to fuck with how long they've been idle to begin with. it isn't as though it fools anyone.

She seems really unusual. I love the sound of the Dry album; that's really all I've heard so far except for one track each off of Uh Huh Her and White Chalk, the brand-new album. I like what I've heard so far, though, and armpit hair is always a plus! ;)

I have to go to the dentist too. I have a big cavity and two smaller ones. I've been avoiding it though because I'm hoping magically I will have dental insurance one day.
